  14. These cue bids ask the doubler to clarify his hand, with emphasis
  15. on (in this order): three card support for opener's major, four or
  16. more cards in an unbid major, stopper(s) in the opposing suit. The
  17. cue bid is forcing to a limit situation, so it requires a good
  18. hand. In the above auctions opener therefore promises another bid
  19. if North does not bid game. See INTRODUCTION for the definition of
  20. "limit situation."
